Established in Dunedin in 1900 by Jack Scott, and named J Scott and Company, our pioneering business grew and diversified in line with customer demand, tastes, and trends over the years – from wood carving and signage to mouldings and framings, to furniture and interior finishings. As the offering evolved and the business grew, importing new wood species and varieties, the JSC brand never wavered on their commitment to hard work, reliability, and quality craftsmanship.
