As we’ve written elsewhere, an audit of your search-engine optimisation (SEO) is one of the best ways to make it easier for people to find you online. When people google keywords that are relevant to your business, they’ll ideally see you at the very top of the first page of results.
There are several different types of SEO campaigns. If your business relies heavily on attracting customers in a certain region, then the SEO you’ll be most concerned with is local SEO.
If you own a burger joint in Auckland, for example, there’s no sense in being found online by someone in New York. You don’t need to compete with millions of overseas burger places for the top search rankings; you just need to compete with the ones in Auckland.
